Prof. Hart Joins The Last Tenth Podcast

Running Coach Pilar Arthur-Snead invited Professor Hart to join her podcast to share our research findings…

Pilar Arthur-Snead is a running coach based in New York. She hosts a podcast called "The Last Tenth” on a variety of platforms.

She talks with runners from various walks of life about their running experiences. Having heard of Exercise for Science and our research into the effects of exercise on the human body, she invited us to share our insights live on her podcast.

Professor Hart joined Season 3, Episode 20 of the Last Tenth podcast in September. Pilar invited him to talk about his own experiences of running and how they inspired the research now being conducted by Exercise for Science.

He also talked through some of the key findings of our knee and hip studies and how they spell good news for runners of all levels..

When asked for his top recommendation for runners, Professor Hart said: “Stretching. It really helps with recovery and makes you feel good and that means you can get up do normal things the next day: work, look affter the children… or go on another run!”
